Reading Pagoda gears up for New Year’s Eve celebration | Berks Regional News
READING, Pa. – Reading’s iconic Pagoda is gearing up for its traditional New Year’s Eve celebration.
The Pagoda will be open from 10 p.m. to midnight on New Year’s Eve.
There will be live entertainment by the Dave Kline Trio. Hot beverages and donuts will be available for purchase and the Pagoda Skyline gift shop will be open.
The event will culminate with a fireworks display at midnight.
Organizers say the view can’t be beat.
“It’s a great place to see, and especially at night when you come up for New Year’s Eve,” said Scott Kauffman, Pagoda management team. “You can see out at the city skyline. And it’s so beautiful and calm. And then once again when the fireworks go off at midnight, above the Pagoda, it’s a great scene to be looked at.”
The popular fireworks display has been a yearly fixture since 1998.
