Child Find available for children with special education needs
As children continue to grow, some need help walking, talking, seeing, hearing or learning. Child Find is a legal requirement for all schools to find children with disabilities and who may be entitled to special education services.
Services are available to all eligible children from birth to age 21, including those highly mobile, homeless and wards of the state. Those with children needing assistance can contact professionals at a local school district or the Arkansas Special Education Resource Center toll-free at 1-800-482-8437.
For more information, contact the Mountain Home School District’s Special Education Department at 870-425-1247.
